HOW TO BOOK
Consult the rental calendar below. Email your requested time and date to sunsetspacestudio@gmail.com. Include the planned use of the studio and number of dancers who will be in the space. Please indicate if you are a new renter.

SUNSET SPACE

SUNSET SPACE is the home base of Anna Sperber Dance Projects. Located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, this light-filled studio with hardwood floors is newly available for rentals by dance and performance artists. From 2004 to 2014, Anna founded and ran BRAZIL, a studio and intimate performance space in Bushwick. Like BRAZIL, SUNSET SPACE strives to be a generative environment for somatic practice, movement research, and more.

HOURS
8am-11pm daily

PAYMENT
You can only pay online once your booking has been confirmed by the Studio Manager. Paying for an unconfirmed booking does not count as reserving space. To pay with credit card, select the number of hours you would like to book. If you are booking more than five hours, you will need to add one hour to your cart, and then update the quantity to the appropriate number of hours. Be sure to double check that you are paying for the correct amount of hours.

**Note that where it says shipping and tax, that is actually PayPal fees including a flat fee of $0.30 and a percentage fee of 2.9%. If you want to avoid the PayPal fees, you are welcome to pay cash or check using the deposit box in the studio.

We will explore practices to prepare our bodies and minds to dance with clarity, articulation, and expressivity, inviting ease and support through pathways of the body. Drawing upon anatomical imagery, breath, and visualization to increase efficiency and freedom of our movement. Seeing and being seen. Directing our attention and intention to find freedom, awareness, imagination, and power in our dancing.
